August Hickey plays saxophone regularly at venues around Missoula, and has also spent time in New York playing local gigs. His background includes performing at festivals and attending the Eastman School of Music. He performs at weddings, restaurants, bars, and private events.

August also teaches private saxophone lessons and leads jazz combos. His students range from complete beginners to advanced jazz improvisers. Lessons are available in person and online, and are adjusted to fit each student's level and goals.
